Psychic Sylvia Browne’s Book Signing Draws Fans

As reported by brooklyneagle.com, Sylvia Browne’s book signing drew over 400 fans, who created a line wrapping around the 85th street store. For the uninformed, Sylvia Browne is a psychic, spiritual teacher and author of 57 books. She appeared on The Montel Williams Show for 17 years and has touched the lives of people all across the U.S.

Sylvia Brown was promoting her new book, “Psychic: My Life in Two Worlds” at the Bay Ridge BookMark.

Browne’s most recent publication, My Life in Two Worlds brought her to Bay Ridge’s BookMark Shoppe for a much-anticipated book signing. Browne drew over 400 fervent fans who began gathering outside the store around 3:30 p.m. By 7 p.m. the line wrapped around 85th Street, inched towards Fourth Avenue and buzzed with excitement.

Browne arrived on time with a modest entourage that included her husband, daughter and publicist. As soon as Browne stepped out of her black SUV the crowd, kept in check by the 68th precinct, erupted in cheers and applause for their beloved psychic.

“She’s much more than a psychic,” Bayridgite Linda Galbraith explained. “Sylvia gives people peace and helps them find strength.”

“I just want to get inside and thank Sylvia for her work,” Joanne Norris added. “She tries to reach people who are lost and are struggling. She helps them find their way.”

Once inside and settled, Browne patiently posed for pictures and entertained hundreds of questions. Aside from her current book, Browne was presented with past publications that fans wanted signed, as well as over 100 copies of her new book that had been reserved. “My husband promised me a hand massage tonight,” Browne joked.

The BookMark Shoppe owners, Christine Freglette and Bina Valenzano were thrilled with the night’s turnout. “We were so excited to have the opportunity to host Sylvia,” Freglette said. “Her books are always in high demand.”
