New York Psychic Medium Communicates With The Dead

phone psychic medium reading

New York Psychic Medium Deborah Hanlon claims to have the ability to communicate with the dead and pass their messages to the living.

As recently reported by advocateweekly.com, a New York Psychic Medium operates a center for spiritual development, growth and meditation.

“I connect with the people who have passed on,” Hanlon said in a phone interview leading up to two upcoming weekend appearances in Manchester, Vt., on March 24 and 25. “It’s a bizarre thing to be able to say it in this world.”

….Einstein has been a “major role model” for Hanlon since she was a young girl.

“His intelligence and ability to think outside the box to create a yet unknown world view astonished Deborah at a very early age,” the website says. “While a seemingly strange role model for a psychic, Einstein talked about the ‘proof’ part of the unknown.

It was a death in the family that caused a reemergence of her abilities as a Psychic Medium.

In 2001, Hanlon’s sister’s mother-in-law died. As Hanlon prepared a package of appropriate clothing to mail to her sister, who had not been prepared for a funeral, she said she was overcome by grief thinking about the death, although it was someone she had not been particularly close to.

“At that moment, I felt like I knew where she was,” Hanlon said.

Her first reaction? “I thought I was crazy,” she said. She kept trying to dismiss the feelings, but she started feeling like she knew things about this woman’s life that she had no way of knowing. She shared her feelings with her sister, who encouraged her to pursue it.

“We just started practicing,” she said.

At first they thought Hanlon was only able to “connect” with this one person. But then she started practicing with other people, and things started to make sense — although not so much to Hanlon herself.

“I’m a skeptic, too,” she said. “Because of my logical mind, (I said), ‘OK, show me this is real.’

“I still want that proof.”

Now, 11 years later, she said she gets that proof from many people she sees in her practice and at readings she does in public, like the upcoming Manchester appearances. She also has started appearing on Albany, N.Y.-area radio stations, including Fly 92 and B95.5, both of which can be heard throughout much of Berkshire County. On the radio, she takes calls from listeners and offers them pieces of messages or advice from loved ones who have passed.

She also made it to the final cut for a reality television program called “The Gift” in 2006 on the SyFy Channel. The show was about everyday ordinary people who have a psychic gift of one kind or another; shortly before the taping of the show, the network canceled the series, but not before Hanlon underwent a series of intelligence and psychological tests to determine if she was fit to be on the show.

Although she looks back on the canceling of the show as a blessing — “I was so not ready,” she said — Hanlon said it led to her feeling comfortable to start doing readings publicly, with small house parties and restaurant events. Now, she said, she has connected with 7,000 people and can fill much larger venues, like the Holiday Inn in Latham, N.Y., where she makes many appearances, and the Wilburton Inn in Manchester, where this weekend’s readings are scheduled.

Florida Town Attracts Visitors For It’s Psychic History

florida psychic reader

By Patrick Mc Calister

Cassadaga is a quaint town – Old Florida. Most of the houses date to the early- to mid-20th century. The roads are narrow – they were laid out for horses, not cars. With no fast food, convenience stores, or other signs of the 21st century, Cassadaga could be as quiet a little town as there ever was.

Except for the tens of thousands of visitors who flock there every year. They walk on a metaphysics fault line probably most never notice. Some are seeking alternative healers, such as Reiki practitioners who claim attunement to direct universal life energy that promotes health. Others are seeking metaphysical classes to expand their psychic horizons. But most probably go for the multitude of psychic and medium readers.

“I just loved it from the second I came the first time,” said frequent visitor Denise Williams of Satellite Beach. “There’s an energy about the place. There’s a different feeling – a different feeling than anywhere else.”

And, yes, she visits the readers when in Cassadaga.

A lot of people went into making Cassadaga Florida’s metaphysical mecca. Of course, there’s George Colby, the Spiritualist trance medium who believers say followed spirit guides from New York to found the Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. It occupies 55 acres, or about half, of the town. Mr. Colby arrived in Volusia during the 1870s.

About a century later, in 1970, the late Ernie Sekunna followed his spirit guides to the town and opened the Universal Centre of Cassadaga, now Brighid’s Well and owned by his son, Matthew Sekunna.

“(Cassadaga) used to be more about the Spiritualism itself,” Mr. Sekunna said. “When my father opened this store, it opened up more of the psychic sciences here. He was the first one with tarot cards, palm readers, and other forms of metaphysics, not just dogmatic Spiritualism.”

Spiritualist mediums eschew psychic devices such as tarot cards for doing readings. They’re typically not interested in forecasting people’s futures, but rather in facilitating contact between physical and spiritual beings.

County Road 4139, Cassadaga Road, is essentially the dividing line between the two approaches to metaphysical readings. In addition to Brighid’s Well, there are five other places on Cassadaga’s north side to get tarot card, and other, readings. Mr. Sekunna said his father was unpopular with many of the Spiritualists at first. But, attitudes softened, because his business was getting more visitors to town and everyone benefited.

Anne-Marie McCormack is co-owner of 6th Sense Connection, a more recently opened metaphysical shop in Cassadaga. The sixth-generation psychic medium said many readers are attracted to the town for the same reason Mr. Colby was – the energy.

“The veil between the worlds is at its thinnest here,” she said.

Cassadaga has had an unwanted energy over the years, too: a power to evoke fear, superstition and rumors. And attract thrill seekers. Perhaps the most famous rumor is about the “Devil’s Chair.” That’s the one that draws a lot of thrill seekers, too. The legends vary, but they all have the same basic spooky element: There’s a seat in the Cassadaga Cemetery called the Devil’s Chair, and if one sits on it at midnight, he or she will see Satan.

What none of the legends account for is that there is no cemetery in Cassadaga. There is a cemetery in neighboring Lake Helen, home of several Christian churches and a pretty good pizza parlor.

Since the 1800s, many sermons were preached in local pulpits against Cassadaga. They included warnings against demonic activity and declarations of God scattering the Spiritualists elsewhere. Some of that still exists. Rev. John Ferro built a church, Dunamis Community & Outreach Center, about a mile from the Spiritualist camp. According to the church’s website, the Lord told him, “it was time to possess the land in Cassadaga.”

In a 2006 “Charisma” magazine article, Mr. Ferro attributed psychic and mediumistic readings found in the town to demonic entities.

“(Readers) are working in the area of familiar spirits,” he told the magazine. “A familiar spirit can give you some really true information about your life because they are following your life. If people are not biblically grounded they can easily be seduced.”

Ms. McCormic said that the only demonic entities antagonists find in Cassadaga are those they have with them.

“I’ve always felt Cassadaga is what you bring to it,” she said. “You bring love and light, you’ll find love and light. You bring scary things, you’ll find scary things.”

Despite rumors, sermons and metaphysical competition, the Spiritualists have held on, and Cassadaga is the oldest active religious community in the Southeast. That probably has a lot to do with folks such as Lylia Brachin, from Morriston. She enjoys visiting Cassadaga and getting readings, but said many of her neighbors would disapprove if they knew.

“I like the town and believe in Spiritualism,” she said. “(My neighbors would) probably burn me at the stake for coming to a place like this.”

Psychic Reader Uses Gift To Help Clients

phone-psychic-reader

It can be very hard being a Psychic Reader, listening to stories of insight, but local Psychic Reader Catherine Nicholas takes a compassionate approach.

As recently reported by delmarvanow.com, a Salisbury Psychic Reader uses her Psychic gifts to try to help her clients.

Regular clients know that and realize when they confide in her and tell her their fears she will keep conversations private. Using energy she feels coming from the person or around him or her, or by reading Tarot cards or their palms, she sometimes surprises them by how much she discerns.

Lighting candles for atmosphere, Nicholas, who uses the professional name Rose White, settles visitors in a private nook off the living room of her Mount Hermon Road home in Salisbury, at the corner of Beaglin Park Drive. The room is long and rectangular, with a comfortable sofa. A curtain separates it from the living area and there is a large crucifix. As a Christian, Nicholas believes her gift is from God, not the dark side. She doesn’t even like to say the word “devil” or “Satan,” using only the reference “him” and making the sign of the cross when she says it.

“Only God knows everything, 100 percent. You know, God knows everything. When you are born, your name is written in a book, did you know that? Oh, yes, God writes down everything — how many times you’re going to be married, what your life will be like. Only God knows everything,” she said, smiling gently and making intent eye contact, punctuated by a tender touch on the arm.

“Some people want to know what their future holds, in their jobs, with their finances. Some are concerned about their children. I tell them about their past, their present, the future. We talk about love, marriage, divorce, travel. I talk to them and it’s whatever I feel, whatever I pick up,” she said.

However, is Psychic Reader Catherine Nicholas completely honest with her clients?

“Darling, yes,” she said with a firm nod. “I can’t know everything. Only he can,” she said, pointing heavenward, “but if that’s their right soul mate or not, I pick it up. The cards will tell me. I try to lead them to what’s right for themselves and their family. Some people don’t say anything and they want me to pick up on what’s happening. Some don’t say much. They want to know what I see. I advise people, but I can’t tell you about a death or tragedy,” Nicholas said.

Open every day from 9 a.m.-10 p.m., she welcomes walk-ins. Usually, more arrive at her door in the summer. The number varies, from one a day to three or four or more.

“I study the problem. I can pick up what’s coming from them and what’s worrying them. It depends what they feel. Some people come back and tell me I was right. It does make you proud. It does,” she said, nodding.

Nicholas is calming, easy to relax with and talk to. She believes her gift was passed down through the generations, from her grandmother to her mother to her. In her mother’s waiting room, a young Nicholas, maybe 14, would talk to guests and notice certain feelings, observations, as the ability budded within her. It has continued in her family members.

The West Virginia native, whose ancestry is Venezuelan, has been working as a psychic for 48 years, with 12 of those in Salisbury. Now 70, with four children, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, she isn’t certain how many more years she will run her business, but she has no immediate plans to retire. If she does, one of her daughters or a daughter-in-law will likely continue the tradition.

In the meantime, her ability is, for her, a source of joy.

“I get to talk to a lot of people, get to help people with their problems,” she said.

“It satisfies me. I am here to try and make peace in their life, but it’s God’s will. It’s in his hands.”

How To Find A Reputable Phone Psychic Reader

reputable phone psychic reading

Many wonder, just how can I go about finding a reputable Phone Psychic Reader?

As recently reported by ballardnewstribune.com, Psychic and Clairvoyant counselor Marjorie Young gives you valuable tips.

As a psychic/clairvoyant/spiritual counselor, I truly value what I do, and find tremendous joy using my gifts to help others. Yet, it is true that not everyone claiming to be a psychic is one – unfortunately, my profession is a happy hunting ground for dishonest practices that often harm innocent victims.

Over many years giving readings, I have come across a number of horror stories that make my blood boil. One example: a Seattle woman who consulted a Miami ‘phone psychic’. This ‘lady’ informed her client that all her recent troubles were due to a ‘curse’, which could only be lifted if she sent the psychic all her money (in cash) so she could ‘remove the curse’ and then return the money! After several consultations, the client foolishly decided to do so, sending every cent she possessed (about two thousand dollars), after which the ‘psychic’s’ phone was disconnected, and the ‘lady’ disappeared!
This is a horrible story, but clearly the victim did not use judgment or good sense! Still, that was no excuse for stealing all she had. But she was hardly the only one to fall for such a trap. I gave a reading for a California woman who had a degree from an Ivy League University, and ran two very successful companies! Yet she fell for almost the same scam, which ended up costing her five thousand dollars!

Psychic Marjorie continues, with an interesting story about a “storefront psychic.”

Another example: a young man came to my home for a reading. He enjoyed it and at the end complimented me for being ‘so normal’! Explaining, he recounted recently going to a ‘storefront psychic’. After spending five minutes with her, she declared that he suffered from ‘bad karma’, but could sell him a ‘negative karmic disruptor’ for a mere fifteen hundred dollars! Fortunately, this story has a happier ending, for he responded in the best possible way – he stood up and marched out, never to return.

All this leaves the question: how does one find a reputable psychic? If someone you know and trust recommends one, that’s a place to start. However, one piece of advice I always give: Let the psychic do the reading! In other words, provide no information of any kind, at least in the beginning. See how accurately the ‘psychic’ is without being given hints as to your situation. Too many people unwittingly give too much away, making it easy for frauds to glean what they need to appear legitimate. Withholding all information is a fool-proof way of separating the real from the phonies! And always maintain a healthy degree of skepticism until the psychic truly proves reliable.

Another invaluable piece of advice: if someone offers a service (lifting ‘curses,’ making ‘love spells’ etc.) for a large sum of money, end the session at once! It’s a dead giveaway of fraud. So, be certain to keep both your wits and your wallet safe when consulting a psychic!

UK Shopkeeper Turns Clairvoyant To Help Business

uk clairvoyant reader

As written in this recent article by Total Essex, a United Kingdom shopkeeper has turned to Clairvoyant Readings to help her business in the tough economy.

Faced with high rent and business rates, the owner of Nature’s Table has come up with the idea of renting out a room in her shop to Billericay clairvoyant Sue Thomas.

Sue has been giving readings in the shop since last month, but her supernatural abilities stretch back to her childhood.

As a five-year-old, Sue claims to have had dreams that would become reality.

“The first dream I ever had was of a neighbour’s pet getting run over,” recalled Sue. “Two days later the dog was no more.

“As years went by, I began to get more and more of those types of things. One particular occasion I ignored a warning and paid dearly for it.”

The 53-year-old foresaw an attack on herself in a dream two days before it happened. As a 13-year-old walking down a lane close to her Bournemouth home, she was attacked by a man, leaving her with minor injuries.

“In my 20s, I tried to take my ability more seriously, I started doing readings for friends and it went from there,” said Sue.

Working under the “more mystical” name of Soraya, Sue offers readings and spiritual guidance to people in the shop for £20 a session.

“It is a spiritual thing I do,” she explained. “It’s not magic. People think you sit on cushions and magically conjure up these readings, but it’s spiritual work.

“It’s not a trick, it’s spiritual guidance.”

The psychic also claims to possess the ability to see illnesses in people, merely by looking at a photograph of them.

“I know it sounds ridiculous, but it’s actually true,” continued Sue, who wants to use her ability to help others.

“I want to link up with a university and look at photographs of children where things are undiagnosed and see if I can make a diagnosis for their good,” said Sue, who does readings on Psychic TV.

As for her current venture, Sue said people do not necessarily come to see her to have their fortune told. “People come to me because they are looking for guidance in their life, a bit of encouragement.

“Sometimes it’s useful to talk to someone who has no knowledge of you,” said Sue.

As for shop owner Claire Sharp, Sue’s introduction is a means of boosting business in the tough economic climate.

“The rent and the rates are so high here, I’m struggling to survive,” Claire said.

Claire, who has owned the shop in The Walk for 17 years, added: “I’m trying to get some extra cash and Sue helps bring people in. I had to do something, I don’t want to close.”

Tarot Card Reader Tells Why Life Goes On After Death

tarot card reader

By Suma Tekur

During a family dinner to celebrate my parents’ forty-second wedding anniversary, conversation drifted to the first time they saw each other. We also spoke of other uncles and aunts in the family, who chose each other in a heartbeat — the traditional arranged marriage way.

We spoke of the oldest of my mother’s brothers who met a long line of potential partners and finally chose my aunt, who sang her way to his heart. “She sang really well when he went to her house to ‘see’ her. He instantly decided this was it,” my mother said. We laughed about the entire process of choosing a wife based on how well she could sing. This uncle died two months ago at the age of 87. We laughed so much that I was uncomfortable. “He’s up there and will be very unhappy with these jokes,” I said.

“He’s not up there. He’s right here… with us,” my dad said. An eerie silence followed when we dwelled on his words. I broke the silence and asked, “What do you mean?”

“I mean he’s right here. He comes in my dreams every other night. I see him getting into the car, walking out of his house… doing regular everyday stuff,” said my dad. This set me thinking about what we perceive to be the end of life. Is it really the end?

In a Tarot card set, there are cards that represent the different stages of life in the entire spectrum. There are cards like The Tower, Death and the Ten of Swords that can be quite unnerving when one gets them in a reading. But without these cards, there would be no meaning to life. Though these cards come with rather disturbing visuals of drastic change, trouble, anxiety and pain, they are all about making way for a new life. They speak of letting go of yesterday and walking into a new tomorrow. They speak of regeneration, rebirth, transformation and permanent change.

The learning from these cards is that if we don’t willingly accept change, something will slam in our faces forcing us to change. Either way, change is inevitable. The point is that this change gives us the opportunity to rise like the phoenix and be reborn from the ashes from an old life, or an old way of thinking. Death, perhaps, then really is all about moving to something new. Not knowing what that something new is, probably, what makes us believe that something is the end.

It’s the same with all the hype surrounding 2012, and the much anticipated end of the world. The National Council of Mayan Elders Spiritual Guides of Guatemala says that on 21 December, 2012, the period of the Sun — what they call the Oxlajuj B’aqtun — comes to an end. Each B’aqtun contains 400 years multiplied by thirteen, that make a total of 5 200 years. Ever since the Mayans began to count time, these cycles have changed. But the more important part of this ending is that it is paving the way for a new beginning, a new cycle. And that can happen only after an end.

Canadian Psychic Medium Connects People With Loved Ones

canadian psychic medium

As recently reported by emcottawawest.ca, Canadian Psychic Medium Matthew Stapley claims to have discovered the gift of contacting the spirit world at a young age and uses his abilities to help people contact their loved ones through Psychic Readings.

At the age of 11, he remembers waking up and seeing the image of his dead grandfather standing over his bed.

“Grandpa, you passed away years ago,” said the 11-year-old boy.

“Yeah but I had to be sure everyone was OK,” replied his grandfather, according to Stapley.

The fledgling psychic shared the messages from his grandfather with his family members.

“That’s when my family, my mom and dad, realized I could speak to the dead,” said Stapley.

Psychic Medium Stapley has encountered many skeptics in his lifetime, but rather than clash with them – he chooses to take the high road.

Stapley has encountered his share of skeptics -people who believe psychics are frauds who use tricks like cold reading and providing vague predictions that could easily be interpreted in different ways by people who want to believe they are talking to their dead loved ones.

In 2010, the Ottawa Sceptics Society gathered outside the Mayfair Theatre in downtown Ottawa to picket Stapley’s first-ever psychic show.

Stapley later wrote a thank you letter to the society for making the event more interesting.

People who attend psychic shows come with questions such as, are they following the right life path or ask what the future holds for them.

CONNECTIONS

As a clairvoyant and clairaudient medium, Stapley said he can help others connect with the spirit world, relaying information provided by spiritual guides, angels and loved ones who have died.

The psychic medium said he never forces a connection -he’ll offer to convey a message to someone in the audience, but they have the option of saying no.

The psychic said he sees an aura of colours surrounding people and hears the voices of spirits who tell him what the colours mean.

“Sometimes the spirit world will tell me about the future for people,” said Stapley, adding that everyone has at least two spirit guides.

GIFT

As a teenager, Stapley said he found it difficult to deal with his gift.

“When I turned 16, there was no way I could turn it off,” he said. “It actually made me very depressed.”

Stapley, who attended three different high schools including Merivale High School in Nepean, said he once used his gift to defuse the attention of a prominent bully at Merivale.

The then 18-year-old fledgling psychic described a diffi-cult personal situation the girl was dealing with at home and told her not to take it out on her classmates. The stunned bully asked him how he knew about her personal life.

“I see dead people,” Stapley told her.

When he graduated high school, Stapley studied in a nursing program at AlgonquinCollege, dropping out after he was injured in a car accident.

He later enrolled in a lab technician program at CDI College, graduated and worked as a lab tech for several weeks, before moving on to a full-time career as a psychic medium.

“There’s nothing I’d rather do than this,” said Stapley.

Everyone has a psychic talent, said Stapley -some are just more gifted or connected to the talent than others.

Compassion is an important trait of a psychic medium, said Stapley.

“I see the compassion aspect over everything else,” he said. “I see helping people to healthy relationships about their life.

“I want people to feel they’re not alone.”

Canadian Psychic & Tarot Card Reading Expo Draws Large Crowd

phone tarot card readings

A recent Psychic Expo in Ontario, Canada where Psychics, Medium’s and Tarot Card Readers performed, drew a large crowd.

As recently reported by the windsorstar.com, this year’s Psychic expo featured 25 exhibits with Psychics from across the world.

When Lynda Doyle was eight years old, she didn’t realize that the continual nightmares she thought she was having would turn into a successful career she now loves every moment of.

“They weren’t actually nightmares. They were spirits that had crossed over trying and were trying to communicate through me,” Doyle said. “I eventually accepted my abilities and became a fifth generation psychic medium.”

Doyle was one of 25 psychics featured at the Windsor Psychic Expo held at the Caboto Club over the weekend.

Linda Fulcher, coordinator of the touring expo, said we all have psychic abilities and we get a sense of this intuition through dreams. She said some people, such as Doyle, are just more in tune with it.

“It’s just like everyone could draw a picture but not everybody could make a masterpiece painting, and everyone could plunk away at the piano but not everyone could play a concerto,” Fulcher said.

The expo has travelled throughout Ontario since 1988 and stops in Windsor twice a year. Fulcher said typically 800-1200 people attend the Windsor Psychic Expo but numbers are down this year due to the snowstorm on Friday.

Australian Psychics To Enlighten At Psychic Expo

australian tarot card readings

Australian Psychics are preparing for the upcoming Psychic Expo, as reported by thechronicle.com.au.

When you go to see a psychic, you discover that you already know the answer to your question, says world-renowned psychic Cassandra Eason.

“They (clients) discover the answers are what they saw all along but didn’t trust,” she said.

“Most of us don’t listen to our instincts – we ignore them.”

She said the best thing she could do for a client was to help them see their “wonderful potential”.

Ms Eason, the author of 93 worldwide best-selling books about the psychic world, is in Toowoomba until the end of the month for the Australian Psychic Expo, which opened yesterday.

She will be offering clairvoyant readings for residents using tarot, goddess, Egyptian and animal cards, runes, crystal balls, crystal angels and crystals to help plan a life path, resolve relationship issues and answer questions about future choices, obstacles and opportunities.

She said she uses different techniques to confirm answers.

“You might get one answer to your question from, say, using the crystal angels and the same answer from the tarot cards,” she said.

The expo will run until January 30 and is open from 9am to 7pm every day.

Canadian Clairvoyant Releases Book On 2012 Mayan Calendar

canadian clairvoyant reader author

Canadian Clairvoyant Jacqui Derbecker has recently released a new book exploring the mysteries and positive messages of the Mayan calendar post 2012 to help people live a more honest, fulfilled life.

Recently reported by thebarrieexaminer.com, the new book focuses on the positive message found in the Mayan calendar post 2012 – and not the usual doomsday message.

Derbecker’s gift of speaking with advisors from beyond the realms of our own physical state has been one she’s felt compelled to share since she discovered it more than 10 years ago.

Stillness is Derbecker’s first book which conveys the prophecies of the Mayan calendar and noted mystic philosopher Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) to help others solve recurring challenges and live a more authentic life.

“We can use these messages to live a life of higher awareness and create a sense of peace. Through my exploration of the deeper consciousness, I help people connect with their inner selves and move forward.”

Derbecker’s channeling process allows her to act as the conduit, passing messages on to single clients or larger groups. She has been involved in automatic writing for more than a decade as well.

Stillness examines how the prophecies of Edgar Cayce and the Mayan calendar relate to every aspect of our lives from our careers, finances, health, emotions, mind and spirit, even to our sense of community.

Derbecker says now, more than ever, is the time to seek a higher spiritual level in our lives.

2012 mayan clairvoyant book

The book is available on Amazon.com and other online book sellers, about the book:

This book “Movement Of Stillness” reveals the New Mayan Calandar post 2012 as channeled by Jacqui Derbecker from Edgar Cayce. Cayce was a well-known mystic philosopher, seer, channelor, and author. He lived from 1877-1945. Jacqui felt honoured and priviledged to channel/streamline, through automatic writing, about 100 prophecies which are revealed in complete detail. By channeling Cayce she was able to clearly visualize the authentic and exciting New Mayan Calandar which she states, “it’s not exactly what some perceive it to be” Jacqui explains, “there are only positive high vibrational messages represented by the Mayan’s predictions and not ones of mass destruction” She advises that now is the time to make “living in Spirit” a reality as we move into a higher realm of truth and a natural original way of being. These prophecies are called the “All Truths” or “Crystal Messages of Truth” Each touch upon the daily living aspects of: career, relationships, financial, emotional, physical, mind, spirit and our sense of community. They speak directly to each and everyone of us regarding the releasing of old barriers and awakening to your authentic self. Thus creating a sense of stillness and peace.
