Pet Psychic Reader Discovers Gift

pet psychic reader

Recently reported by Austin, Texas news statesman.com, author Andrea Ball talks about her friends encounter with a Pet Psychic Reader.

So I’m camping at Enchanted Rock with a bunch of rowdy Cub Scouts a few weekends ago when my friend Mary says something that brings our conversation to a halt.

“My pet psychic said … ” she starts.

“Wait, what?” I interrupt.

That’s right, she answers. Less than a year ago, Mary had adopted a boxer with a bum leg from a rescue group. He’d obviously been abused, and she wanted to learn more about him, so she asked a pet psychic to give her dog a reading. It was, she said, a great experience.

And that is how I learned about Elizabeth Martindale — psychic, medium, animal communicator.

Skeptical readers, I can hear your guffaws from across the city. I get it. It’s cool.

But this stuff is right up my alley. I’ve been to psychics. I’ve owned Ouija boards. And let me tell you, I should have listened more closely in 1989 when a ghost named Gloria told me that my parents’ car was on fire because, at that very moment, it actually was.

Martindale, 42, lives in North Austin. She was born in Arkansas, has a master’s degree in museum science and works a full-time job in state government that she’d rather we don’t mention here. She’s always been psychic, Martindale said.

“I would get these messages or information about people’s lives, and I thought everyone could do it,” she said.

Martingale communicated as a Psychic Medium with the dead, but upon request soon found out that she could also communicate with Pets through Psychic Readings.

Last week, Martindale agreed to come to my house to read my three dogs: Bessie, Boris and Pooh.

The second she walks into my small living room, they swarm around her. Bessie, the Boston terrier mix, jumps on her legs. Boris, the morbidly obese pug, spins in circles. Pooh, another terrier mix, trots up to say hi.

Martindale quickly taps into the fact that Boris and Bessie are wonderfully vapid animals. They have no dark past, harbor no miseries. We’ve had them since they were puppies, and they are typical goofy dogs.

“They just keep saying how much they love you,” she says, as Bessie climbs all over her, leaving white hair and dog slime in her wake.

Martindale doesn’t talk to them out loud. There’s no cooing or asking them questions. She just observes them and listens.

Then we zero in on Pooh, who is sleeping in the middle of the room.

Pooh, I tell her, was previously owned by a now-deceased elderly woman named Margaret. But we don’t know anything else about him. Despite his gentle nature, he can be very skittish and is nervous around men. Was he abused at some point?

Martindale stares at Pooh and then says, “I’m getting that he was owned by a family before and there were children, which he liked, but the father was very harsh with him.”

But then things got better.

“He definitely had a little old lady in his life,” Martindale says. “She was 80 or 83 and they would hang out in the recliner and watch ‘Wheel of Fortune.’ ”

She was also very petite and had white poofy hair, she says.

And she was right. Margaret weighed 85 pounds, had white poofy hair, loved her recliner and watched “Wheel of Fortune.” She was 89 when she died.

Did Martindale get all that just because I said she was owned by “an old lady?” A skeptic would say yes. But me, I’m happy to enjoy the mystery. And Martindale is happy to keep reading animals.

“They’re not all that different from humans at all,” she says. “I just like helping them.”

Pet Owners Line Up To See Australian Pet Psychic Reader

Published by under Psychic Reader

pet psychic amanda de warren

Popular Australian Psychic Medium and Pet Psychic Reader Amanda De Warren has Australian pet owners lining up for readings.

As recently reported by couriermail.com.au, Australian Pet Psychic Reader Amanda De Warren has pet owners lining up for Pet Psychic Readings.

She did not know me from a bar of soap, but over the telephone somehow managed to touch base with my beloved cat, Chance.

The funny thing was I had not even mentioned him.

“He’s beautiful,” she said.

“But keep an eye on him because he said to tell you that he loves the outside. He’s not worried about being an inside cat, he actually feels very safe being inside but he does like to go outside sometimes.”

She had hit the mark. I may have been a sceptic but I was gobsmacked at how spot on she was.

I continued to listen with great intent as she delved further into his eating habits, temperament and age.

This Sunday, Ms De Warren is gearing up to touch base with other northsiders and their pets, when she hosts a two-hour afterlife connection intimate session at Geebung-Zillmere RSL Club.

“My job is to get out there and help people come to terms with people that have passed over, animals that have passed over or things that have happened in their life,” she said.

“It is all about bringing through information and closure to them.

“It’s never about me, it’s about the people. I help to bring closure, lessen their grief, take their burdens away from them, shift stuff from their shoulders, that’s what it’s about.”

Ms De Warren will also hold private, face-to-face readings where she will “relay messages from beyond”.

Florida Town Attracts Visitors For It’s Psychic History

florida psychic reader

By Patrick Mc Calister

Cassadaga is a quaint town – Old Florida. Most of the houses date to the early- to mid-20th century. The roads are narrow – they were laid out for horses, not cars. With no fast food, convenience stores, or other signs of the 21st century, Cassadaga could be as quiet a little town as there ever was.

Except for the tens of thousands of visitors who flock there every year. They walk on a metaphysics fault line probably most never notice. Some are seeking alternative healers, such as Reiki practitioners who claim attunement to direct universal life energy that promotes health. Others are seeking metaphysical classes to expand their psychic horizons. But most probably go for the multitude of psychic and medium readers.

“I just loved it from the second I came the first time,” said frequent visitor Denise Williams of Satellite Beach. “There’s an energy about the place. There’s a different feeling – a different feeling than anywhere else.”

And, yes, she visits the readers when in Cassadaga.

A lot of people went into making Cassadaga Florida’s metaphysical mecca. Of course, there’s George Colby, the Spiritualist trance medium who believers say followed spirit guides from New York to found the Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. It occupies 55 acres, or about half, of the town. Mr. Colby arrived in Volusia during the 1870s.

About a century later, in 1970, the late Ernie Sekunna followed his spirit guides to the town and opened the Universal Centre of Cassadaga, now Brighid’s Well and owned by his son, Matthew Sekunna.

“(Cassadaga) used to be more about the Spiritualism itself,” Mr. Sekunna said. “When my father opened this store, it opened up more of the psychic sciences here. He was the first one with tarot cards, palm readers, and other forms of metaphysics, not just dogmatic Spiritualism.”

Spiritualist mediums eschew psychic devices such as tarot cards for doing readings. They’re typically not interested in forecasting people’s futures, but rather in facilitating contact between physical and spiritual beings.

County Road 4139, Cassadaga Road, is essentially the dividing line between the two approaches to metaphysical readings. In addition to Brighid’s Well, there are five other places on Cassadaga’s north side to get tarot card, and other, readings. Mr. Sekunna said his father was unpopular with many of the Spiritualists at first. But, attitudes softened, because his business was getting more visitors to town and everyone benefited.

Anne-Marie McCormack is co-owner of 6th Sense Connection, a more recently opened metaphysical shop in Cassadaga. The sixth-generation psychic medium said many readers are attracted to the town for the same reason Mr. Colby was – the energy.

“The veil between the worlds is at its thinnest here,” she said.

Cassadaga has had an unwanted energy over the years, too: a power to evoke fear, superstition and rumors. And attract thrill seekers. Perhaps the most famous rumor is about the “Devil’s Chair.” That’s the one that draws a lot of thrill seekers, too. The legends vary, but they all have the same basic spooky element: There’s a seat in the Cassadaga Cemetery called the Devil’s Chair, and if one sits on it at midnight, he or she will see Satan.

What none of the legends account for is that there is no cemetery in Cassadaga. There is a cemetery in neighboring Lake Helen, home of several Christian churches and a pretty good pizza parlor.

Since the 1800s, many sermons were preached in local pulpits against Cassadaga. They included warnings against demonic activity and declarations of God scattering the Spiritualists elsewhere. Some of that still exists. Rev. John Ferro built a church, Dunamis Community & Outreach Center, about a mile from the Spiritualist camp. According to the church’s website, the Lord told him, “it was time to possess the land in Cassadaga.”

In a 2006 “Charisma” magazine article, Mr. Ferro attributed psychic and mediumistic readings found in the town to demonic entities.

“(Readers) are working in the area of familiar spirits,” he told the magazine. “A familiar spirit can give you some really true information about your life because they are following your life. If people are not biblically grounded they can easily be seduced.”

Ms. McCormic said that the only demonic entities antagonists find in Cassadaga are those they have with them.

“I’ve always felt Cassadaga is what you bring to it,” she said. “You bring love and light, you’ll find love and light. You bring scary things, you’ll find scary things.”

Despite rumors, sermons and metaphysical competition, the Spiritualists have held on, and Cassadaga is the oldest active religious community in the Southeast. That probably has a lot to do with folks such as Lylia Brachin, from Morriston. She enjoys visiting Cassadaga and getting readings, but said many of her neighbors would disapprove if they knew.

“I like the town and believe in Spiritualism,” she said. “(My neighbors would) probably burn me at the stake for coming to a place like this.”

Psychic Reader Uses Gift To Help Clients

phone-psychic-reader

It can be very hard being a Psychic Reader, listening to stories of insight, but local Psychic Reader Catherine Nicholas takes a compassionate approach.

As recently reported by delmarvanow.com, a Salisbury Psychic Reader uses her Psychic gifts to try to help her clients.

Regular clients know that and realize when they confide in her and tell her their fears she will keep conversations private. Using energy she feels coming from the person or around him or her, or by reading Tarot cards or their palms, she sometimes surprises them by how much she discerns.

Lighting candles for atmosphere, Nicholas, who uses the professional name Rose White, settles visitors in a private nook off the living room of her Mount Hermon Road home in Salisbury, at the corner of Beaglin Park Drive. The room is long and rectangular, with a comfortable sofa. A curtain separates it from the living area and there is a large crucifix. As a Christian, Nicholas believes her gift is from God, not the dark side. She doesn’t even like to say the word “devil” or “Satan,” using only the reference “him” and making the sign of the cross when she says it.

“Only God knows everything, 100 percent. You know, God knows everything. When you are born, your name is written in a book, did you know that? Oh, yes, God writes down everything — how many times you’re going to be married, what your life will be like. Only God knows everything,” she said, smiling gently and making intent eye contact, punctuated by a tender touch on the arm.

“Some people want to know what their future holds, in their jobs, with their finances. Some are concerned about their children. I tell them about their past, their present, the future. We talk about love, marriage, divorce, travel. I talk to them and it’s whatever I feel, whatever I pick up,” she said.

However, is Psychic Reader Catherine Nicholas completely honest with her clients?

“Darling, yes,” she said with a firm nod. “I can’t know everything. Only he can,” she said, pointing heavenward, “but if that’s their right soul mate or not, I pick it up. The cards will tell me. I try to lead them to what’s right for themselves and their family. Some people don’t say anything and they want me to pick up on what’s happening. Some don’t say much. They want to know what I see. I advise people, but I can’t tell you about a death or tragedy,” Nicholas said.

Open every day from 9 a.m.-10 p.m., she welcomes walk-ins. Usually, more arrive at her door in the summer. The number varies, from one a day to three or four or more.

“I study the problem. I can pick up what’s coming from them and what’s worrying them. It depends what they feel. Some people come back and tell me I was right. It does make you proud. It does,” she said, nodding.

Nicholas is calming, easy to relax with and talk to. She believes her gift was passed down through the generations, from her grandmother to her mother to her. In her mother’s waiting room, a young Nicholas, maybe 14, would talk to guests and notice certain feelings, observations, as the ability budded within her. It has continued in her family members.

The West Virginia native, whose ancestry is Venezuelan, has been working as a psychic for 48 years, with 12 of those in Salisbury. Now 70, with four children, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, she isn’t certain how many more years she will run her business, but she has no immediate plans to retire. If she does, one of her daughters or a daughter-in-law will likely continue the tradition.

In the meantime, her ability is, for her, a source of joy.

“I get to talk to a lot of people, get to help people with their problems,” she said.

“It satisfies me. I am here to try and make peace in their life, but it’s God’s will. It’s in his hands.”

Psychic Social Worker Has Dilemma

Published by under Psychic Reader

psychic social worker

In a recent article by sfgate.com, a Psychic Social worker writes in to Abby for advice on how to use her Psychic Abilities.

Dear Abby: I will graduate from college in June and be a social worker. I am psychic.

I notice that during client counseling sessions images will pop into my head. I once gave a classmate the “willies” by perfectly describing the garden in her backyard, having never laid eyes on it. My adviser says I must never tell my clients the things I “see” because it will frighten them.

It’s hard to separate my own thoughts and emotions from those of spirits around me. I’m concerned about my psychic ability in relation to my clients. If I pick up on abuse in the mind of a child, for example, am I obligated to report it?

Being psychic is as natural to me as my having blue eyes. I’m dedicated to the profession I have chosen. Can you advise?

Gifted in New York

Dear Gifted: Instead of using your visions to form judgments about your clients, use them to guide you during interviews. If you do, you will then be better equipped to provide concrete proof of the need for an intervention than revealing you “saw” something that others can’t see.

Many people have psychic abilities, and those “vibes” can be invaluable. It is possible that your gift will give you insight into the individuals you will serve.

Atlanta Psychic Medium Offers Psychic Evenings In His Home

Atlanta Psychic Medium

Recently reported by eighbornewspapers.com, people seeking an idea of what life after death may hold can visit the Atlanta home of the Rev. Timothy Lewis Smith, a popular local Psychic Medium who holds regular Psychic Reading sessions.

“I believe everyone is an Alexandrian if they benefit from anything born there,” he said about the former Egyptian capital. “It was a life center.”

The center of the 90-minute evening will be a visit from the other side.

“I will take my seat and fall, basically, immediately into a spiritually induced trance state. My teacher will speak,” Smith said about an entity he calls TaPa. “He lectures for about an hour. Then he answers questions people have posed.”

The evening also includes a group meditation and a performance by Atlanta Boy Choir alumnus Darrel McGhee.

“Occasionally we have spontaneous healings that take place in the audience, depending on the needs of the participants,” Smith said. “It’s a very low-key thing, actually.”

Elena Johnson, an east Cobb resident, said she can hear Smith’s voice change key when he channels TaPa.

“It’s deeper,” she said. “It’s soothing and eloquent. Sometimes he’ll speak in Elizabethan English.”

Smith can hear the voice later.

“Everything is recorded, transcribed and copyrighted with the Library of Congress. I put all the sessions on a yearly basis into one book,” he said about a series, currently numbering 35 publications, shelved in his 10,000-volume metaphysical library.

Reading the transcripts, which include predictions, may be startling.

“The changes that will unfold over this next year will not all be positive. These will be difficult times,” Smith said in a statement. “The earth has reached its tipping point on every level. The global economy will not improve. America will face an unparalleled energy crisis.”

His prophecies, however, do not include gas prices, winning lottery numbers or the presidential primary victor.

“He doesn’t want to be thought of as a fortune teller,” said Smith’s personal secretary Bruce Smith, no relation. “That’s been the bane of his existence.”

Johnson said the lectures have enhanced her existence.

“When I came here, I felt complete. I’ve had healing. Everything I’ve heard has provided me with inner peace and happiness,” she said. “It’s a very complete experience I’ve never been able to find anywhere else.”

UK Shopkeeper Turns Clairvoyant To Help Business

uk clairvoyant reader

As written in this recent article by Total Essex, a United Kingdom shopkeeper has turned to Clairvoyant Readings to help her business in the tough economy.

Faced with high rent and business rates, the owner of Nature’s Table has come up with the idea of renting out a room in her shop to Billericay clairvoyant Sue Thomas.

Sue has been giving readings in the shop since last month, but her supernatural abilities stretch back to her childhood.

As a five-year-old, Sue claims to have had dreams that would become reality.

“The first dream I ever had was of a neighbour’s pet getting run over,” recalled Sue. “Two days later the dog was no more.

“As years went by, I began to get more and more of those types of things. One particular occasion I ignored a warning and paid dearly for it.”

The 53-year-old foresaw an attack on herself in a dream two days before it happened. As a 13-year-old walking down a lane close to her Bournemouth home, she was attacked by a man, leaving her with minor injuries.

“In my 20s, I tried to take my ability more seriously, I started doing readings for friends and it went from there,” said Sue.

Working under the “more mystical” name of Soraya, Sue offers readings and spiritual guidance to people in the shop for £20 a session.

“It is a spiritual thing I do,” she explained. “It’s not magic. People think you sit on cushions and magically conjure up these readings, but it’s spiritual work.

“It’s not a trick, it’s spiritual guidance.”

The psychic also claims to possess the ability to see illnesses in people, merely by looking at a photograph of them.

“I know it sounds ridiculous, but it’s actually true,” continued Sue, who wants to use her ability to help others.

“I want to link up with a university and look at photographs of children where things are undiagnosed and see if I can make a diagnosis for their good,” said Sue, who does readings on Psychic TV.

As for her current venture, Sue said people do not necessarily come to see her to have their fortune told. “People come to me because they are looking for guidance in their life, a bit of encouragement.

“Sometimes it’s useful to talk to someone who has no knowledge of you,” said Sue.

As for shop owner Claire Sharp, Sue’s introduction is a means of boosting business in the tough economic climate.

“The rent and the rates are so high here, I’m struggling to survive,” Claire said.

Claire, who has owned the shop in The Walk for 17 years, added: “I’m trying to get some extra cash and Sue helps bring people in. I had to do something, I don’t want to close.”

Sally Morgan’s Psychic Life

Published by under psychic medium,Psychic Reader

sally morgan psychic

Some people have their first psychic experience late on in life, but Sally Morgan, 60, believes it is something that has always been with her.

The first psychic experience happened to Sally at nursery, when she was aged four.

Sally said: “I asked my teacher why my grandad couldn’t be with me. My teacher told me no one was allowed their grandad in the class with them.

“Then I pointed to a girl in my class and asked why she was allowed. I could see clear as day an old man next to this girl.
“The man smiled at me and then just disappeared. No one else in the room saw him.”

During her teenage years, Sally would do readings for her friends. Her client base grew gradually through word of mouth.
Originally, Sally worked as a dental nurse and gave frequent readings by the age of 22.

“I would do full-time readings from my front room. My daughter started to take my bookings and, before long, I had a diary jam-packed full of appointments.”

Although some parts of the work can be extremely heartbreaking, Sally loves being able to help others.

“I knew that I had been given this gift for a reason and felt that I needed to use it in a positive way.”

Even now, the sight of a ghost can give Sally a fright, but she is quick to point out that she feels incredibly honoured.

“I have the privilege of being able to comfort people, help them when they are grieving and deliver messages to them from their loved ones on the other side.”

Sally’s psychic abilities have seen her put doctors right over a diagnosis.

A couple who were trying for a baby went to see Sally. She told them they would have healthy twins, a boy and a girl.

Sure enough, a few months later, the mother became pregnant with twins. Five months into the pregnancy, the couple called Sally in hysterics.

Doctors told the couple that the little boy had a defect and would die when he was born.

Sally thought this had to be wrong, as she had seen the couple with a boy and a girl in her vision.

The couple kept the twins and when they were born both of them were perfectly fine. The doctors admitted that they had made a mistake.

“Now I have a beautiful photo of the twins on my wall, and the boy is perfectly healthy and happy.”

Most of the time, the psychic is doing five shows a week, which doesn’t give her much time to herself.

In the time off she does get, she enjoys spending it with her family.

Since a gastric bypass, Sally has been given a new lease of life.

“I have the energy to go for walks – admittedly, some of the walks are to the stores: my one vice is shopping.”

Sally has been touring the UK for over four years and is not planning on stopping any time soon.

“I absolutely love life on the road. It has really enabled me to explore my ability in a new way. You just never know what is going to happen.”

Psychic Chakra Reader Meg Michaelson

Published by under Psychic Reader,Psychic Reading

psychic chakra reader

Chakra reader Meg Michaelson won’t communicate with deceased loved ones, or tell you where you left your phone, but she’ll help you heal damaged energy. She read my energy and advised I “get a hula hoop.”

“Get a hula hoop.” That is what psychic Meg Michaelson told me this morning when I interviewed her for Patch.

I replied that I have never been able to keep one airborne. “That’s just it,” she said, “you need to shake up your energy and bring some amusement. It will help to open your second and fifth chakras and bring more joy to the sixth.

Curious? So was I.

Meg Michaelson is the sister of local Goldi’s employee, Kathleen Aragon, and did some sample readings there at this year’s Shorewood’s “Stop, Shop and Restore” in December.

I had the benefit of having her read me then, and again today for a few minutes after we chatted on the phone about the practice. And I’m telling you, it’s nothing you don’t know. Of course, you may have a situation that doesn’t take a psychic to tell you what’s wrong, like you have a tendency to whack the same toe over and over. I can tell you, however, you may have some unresolved issues (and you may need to allow yourself to wear a sturdier house shoe). This is deeper.

So what does it mean to have a psychic reading? In Michaelson’s case, it’s a chakra reading, and she moves from the first to the seventh chakras from your feet (one) stopping at each point to just over your head (seven), standing behind you, never touching you.

If it’s over the phone, same thing. She will calmly, gently, tell you where there is tension, or energy that is “stuck,” and where you may need to shake things up or ask questions of yourself. This isn’t about communicating with those who have passed on, or telling you where you left your phone. It is like a health reading, a guide for you to hear and heal your body and mind.

What’s different is, what she tells you will come with a solution, an idea, or a suggested way to examine what is going on, and that part you obviously haven’t been doing or you would not have some stuff “stuck” in your energy.

Not all psychics are alike. Michaelson is trained in psychology and human energy systems (chakra systems).

“I read the energy body which impacts your physical body,” she said.

She also sees people from those who are curious, like me, to those who are being treated for physical issues by doctors, “who may want to get at the root of certain issues in a different way.”

Michaelson sees over 300 new people a year, whether by phone or in person, for only one or two sessions.

“It’s a partnership, really, and I ask my clients to learn from what I am seeing in them, to then read their own bodies,” she said. “I don’t create people who become dependent on me. I educate people to be aware of their own energy, and how they are interacting in the world, how things affect them … and then I give them tools to make improvements.”

She generally identifies in one hour a personalized study list for a client, item-by-item, to investigate, in order to help heal the energy of the body. And truly, you don’t need to speak. She has already got it. For example, with me, she said, “Hm, you feel like you don’t have time to work out, because every second is claimed and you’re already behind schedule,” she said.

Um, spot on so far.

“Well, you are in effect telling your body that you don’t have time for it; it’s an illusion that then becomes the norm and your lumbar feels immobilized, which glues you further.”

If you decide to rise above that vicious circle and move around or do some jumping jacks for five minutes (for me she suggested hula hoop or interpretive dance, I kid you not) when you get the “no time for you” message, you will create energy flow that will start to rebuild your self-esteem and you will start to free yourself from some emotional hard feelings.”

Done! Wait, I’m still sitting here after revising this story for an hour. Oops. Old habits die hard.

She has some other examples of what she finds in her readings. She may aptly pick up on severe sciatica you didn’t mention, that could be stemming from fear of financial issues or an emotionally draining relationship that needs further examination in your second chakra.

Me, I have issues in every chakra, but the third is the body’s engine — the power house that drives the energy. As a practice, Michaelson recommends recognizing when others’ issues are coming at you, and slowing them down. After talking to her the first time, I started thinking of the way Keanu Reaves dodges bullets in the Matrix, suspending the space/time continuum somehow, and I picture those bullets as people’s feelings and grief and things.

“Examine and bless those things, and send them back to them, instead of holding them inside of you,” she said. “That doesn’t do anyone any good.”

She pointed out that this type of thing can bring us to an emotional standstill “if we let other people disempower us with their grief, negative thoughts, or harsh criticism.” It affects our digestive systems, our energy levels, and our self-esteem.

All the areas of the body have a corresponding energy label, or chakra. Heart conditions, for example, are rooted in the fourth chakra, where our unconditional love of self should be, but where many hold on to hurt or betrayal.

“Strengthening the fourth chakra by showing gratitude and forgiveness can strengthen the heart,” Michaelson said.

Moving on up, neck and throat pain are issues in the fifth chakra, communication. If communication is controlled, either the client feels she has no voice, or her voice is not being heard, pain in the neck or throat can ensue.

Furthermore, if a client is struggling to change another person or suffers a loss of control, chronic pain or TMJ can ensue. Michaelson describes this a relief that can come if “the client is open to having their expression not necessarily create a change in others, but to simply be, and be a creative voice that is clear and kind.”

Michaelson has experience to articulate every chakra and accompanying maladies that can be caused by damaged or hurt energy that we carry around with us every day. It is really an eye-opening (and I’m talking third) experience to have yourself read in this way.

To schedule, just email meg@soulspeakhealing.com. She does groups, or could come back to Goldi with a little encouragement from you.

In the meantime, when you come back to this story from your jumping jacks, Michaelson suggests for everyone to make sure to do four things every day:

  • Breathe more air
  • Move more
  • Eat good food
  • Have gratitude every morning for yourself and something in the world

What does spirituality mean to you?

intuitive psychic

Intuitive Psychic Jennifer Clark

What does spirituality mean to you? Ottawa At Home recently interviewed Canadian Intuitive Jennifer Clark and Tarot Card Reader Gail Desjardins.

Jennifer Clark - Intuitive Psychic

What does spirituality mean to you? It is a philosophy of right living that guides me to find hope, faith, forgiveness, compassion and understanding for people, and the world around me and within me. It is a way of life for me.

What is your special ability and how does it work? As an intuitive, I can see, hear, know and feel energy. I have the gifts of clairaudience, the ability to hear clearly; clairvoyance, the ability to see clearly; claircognizance, the ability to know clearly and clairsentience, the ability to feel clearly. I can tune into a situation and offer the natural solution to the problem and map out success strategies for career, family, health, money, business and love.

How did you discover that you had your particular gift(s)? A book called Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch changed my life. I had my own personal conversation with the divine after reading it. Instantly, I could see, hear, feel and know energy all around me. I began to “see” beings of light around people that would telepathically tell me helpful information about that person.

In 2000, I went to Newport Beach, Calif. to study angel therapy with Doreen Virtue, a psychologist who sees and talks to angels. Soon thereafter, I became Ottawa’s first angel therapy practitioner and professional spiritual teacher certified by Doreen Virtue. Since then, I’ve consulted with over 8,000 people worldwide, helping to find “soul-utions” to life’s problems.

Gail Desjardins, “Gailstar” - Tarot Card Reader

What does spirituality mean to you? The feeling that I get through the work that I do to help others. It is more than a sense of achievement; it’s an inner satisfaction that someone is helping me to achieve my goal to help others.

What is your special ability and how does it work? With the enhancement of my Tarot cards, I am pleased and always surprised by my ability to help others by knowing what is going on in their lives. I am able to give them warnings of the good and bad that have a potential to happen in a specific amount of time.

How did you discover that you had your particular gift(s)? I knew in grade school that I had some type of gift. I knew when things were going to happen, it was just a feeling that I had. I remember saying to my friends, “wouldn’t that be cool if . . .” and then fill in what I just knew was coming up. In high school, I learned to use a regular deck of playing cards for readings, and then a few years later, took an actual course on Tarot reading with another very gifted psychic in the Ottawa area that taught me to follow my instincts.

What is the greatest myth about your profession? That some of us are evil and do magic. Some people still believe today that we are witches and make things happen. Tarot reading is very spiritual, and in my opinion, very connected to God, and the highest of good.

Describe how your work promotes healing? People just need to know that the path they are on in life is going to end up where they want to go. They need to know their options, and know that there are alternatives to events, or situations that they feel they have no control over. My job is to show them the doors that have previously been hidden, and open their minds to the possibilities of life before them. Inner peace promotes healing on the inside and the outside.
